HausFlex is a wall-mounted, full-metal modular wardrobe system designed in Singapore by HausBedroom for HDB flats, condos and landed homes. Steel uprights are fixed to your wall with slots every 25 mm, and shelves, hanging rods, drawers and baskets hook into them, so you can add, move or remove parts at any time without hacking.
A metal modular wardrobe suits you if you want to change the layout later, store things in a humid room or service yard, or may move house after MOP. A built-in suits you if you want a fully closed, seamless look. HausFlex costs about 25% less than premium built-in carpentry for the same wall.
Choose HausFlex for a solid brick or concrete wall and an all-steel frame. Choose HausPole if the wall is a partition, aircon trunking or a beam runs down it, or there is no wall at all. HausPole stands on the floor and leaves trunking open for servicing.
No. HausFlex is wall-mounted: steel uprights are fixed into the wall and every part hooks into them. Nothing hangs from a top rail and nothing presses against the ceiling.
Yes. The uprights are fixed into solid brick or concrete. For a partition wall, or a wall with aircon trunking running down it, we recommend HausPole instead.
Each section between two uprights has a rated load of 140 kg, including everything in it. Shelves are rated for 30 kg on 550 mm and 609 mm sections and 20 kg on 762 mm sections.
Most HausFlex wardrobes are installed in about a day by our in-house team.
Yes. Start open and add sliding, swing, bi-fold or HausGlide folding-sliding doors after installation, without rebuilding.
Yes. HausFlex comes down and goes back up in your next home. When our team does the move, the warranty stays valid.
The steel frame and metal parts contain no formaldehyde; the wooden pedestal drawer and any doors are named separately on your quotation. The frame is powder-coated SPCC steel, not stainless steel. The coating passed a 48-hour, 5% salt spray test, so it suits bedrooms, store rooms and sheltered service yards, not outdoor spots in direct rain.
Every HausFlex comes with a 2-year warranty on material and workmanship from the installation date, with after-sales support from the same team that measured and installed it.
